I just read The Help. (A recently purchased Kindle and a list on Good Reads has helped me catch up on my reading list.) The choice wasn’t timed this way but I am so glad I read it now as my son is learning about Martin Luther King, Jr. and civil rights in school. It was a great reminder of life from that time period and better enabling me to answer the random civil rights questions the Little One has been asking.
He decided that when he grows up he wants to give a great speech as well. Melts my heart that little guy. I hope he does give a great speech one day. I still hold out hope for this crazy world.
