- Composting - following up the diet changes of 2011, I need to find something to do with all of these fruit and veggie scraps! If I nail this, gardening might be added as a goal this spring.
- Vegan cooking - I discovered I that I am allergic to dairy last year. I also discovered that I feel tremendously better when I cut out processed foods, dairy and meat. I don't know if the 2 carnivores I live with will not take well to becoming vegetarian with me and I'm not really ready to give up fish yet. So I am trying to casually add in new recipes each week that are dairy free but that my family will want to eat up.
- Kill the clutter - I have been hating the house I live in since we got here 4 years ago. But I might be able to make peace with it if I can get rid of all the clutter and start to actually enjoy the space instead of just cleaning it. I come from a long-line of pack-rats so I am sure it will be very difficult to break my genetic predisposition to piling, saving, storing but if I want to avoid hoarding one day, I need to put an end to it now. I am going to try to go with the Fly Lady's system....but in the end will do what works.
Carrying over a goal from 2011:
last year, I decided I wanted to lose 40 at 40. I lost 40 but gained 14 back now...I want to shed that before I turn 41 in March. I am a little shy about posting about weight loss stuff so that won't be mentioned much but is in the background.
